The Quaker Oatskah

We here at Purdookah admittedly have pretty wild imaginations.  We spend more time than we should discussing how to turn everyday objects into imaginative hookahs.  Most of our ideas are totally unnecessary, but fun to discuss, nonetheless.  The Quaker Oatskah, however, came from necessity.  A couple of nights ago, we decided to pack Sam’s tiny pumpkin hookah.  Unfortunately, the excellent new cobra hose he just bought was a bit too heavy and wanted to tip the whole hookah.  With two coals burning, we panicked, looking for something to hold up our Leaning Tower of Hookah.Using just a butter knife and an empty container of Quaker Oats, we created a base.  The results were… interesting.

As you can probably see from the picture, the pumpkin hookah fits nearly perfectly into the container. It’s impossible to put the lid on with coals on top, but there’s plenty of room to keep the cardboard from catching fire.

We made a mistake in lighting two coals for the tiny hookah, but things worked out relatively well, and the smoke was nice and thick.  Al Fakher Grape is a great flavor that we’ll hopefully be reviewing soon, by the way.  The top plastic rim gets pretty hot, so be careful!

Apparently, the Quaker Oatskah is surprisingly tasty.  As far as quick little hookah covers go, the Quaker Oats container is pretty excellent, if you’ve got a pumpkin hookah.  Go ahead, impress your friends by whipping out one of these, plugging a hose in the side, and popping some coals on top.
